Our Founder speaks from the heart...

"Seeing many beloved women struggling over the years,
not always having the concentrated help that they so desperately needed,
has moved me, by the will of God, to reach out to help. In
ministering the Word of God precept upon precept with simplicity, and
allowing God the freedom to have His way, many women have been set free
by the power of God operating in my life.
I am truly grateful for your recent interest in Women of Power
Ministries, Inc. I pray this information will not only be a blessing to
you, but also inspire you. Will you allow God to speak to your heart about
attending a class and/or supporting us in this effort? You can offer support by
praying for us in our endeavor to reach women who are hurting, becoming a partner with us through our WOPM Partner’s Program, or
by giving
a one-time donation."
Thank you and may God richly bless you,
Lisa Terry
My Biography
I, Minister Lisa Terry, am the Founder, President & Instructor for Women of
Power Ministries. A licensed and ordained minister, I graduated from Word Of Faith
International Christian Center's (WOFICC) Bible Training Center in Southfield,
Michigan. I served as the Outreach Director for Faith Christian
Center (FCC) in Phoenix, Arizona under the leadership of both Bishop Keith A.
Butler and Pastor Keith A. Butler II. Currently, I serve as the
Director of the Prayer Ministry at Faith Christian Center in Smyrna, Georgia
under Pastor Keith A. Butler, II. Along with my ministerial
training, I obtained my Baccalaureate of Science in Education and pursued my
graduate studies at Eastern Michigan University. I have over 10 years of
teaching experience. And I believe that God wants women to dominate in
their personal lives, marriages, and families. God has moved me with
compassion to reach out to those who have experienced hurt, grief/loss, and
abuse. In addition to this, I possess a passion to help women understand
their role so that they can become more perfected and balanced as women of God.
Finally, my heart is to bring racial and denominational reconciliation among
women of God. My aim is to minister the Word of God with power but
simplicity. I am supported by my wonderful husband Michael Terry and our
beautiful daughter Delaney.
